Do you cover the entire North West?+
Yes Greater Manchester, the High Peak, Cheshire, Lancashire, Merseyside fringe and parts of Derbyshire and Yorkshire. If you're within roughly 60 minutes of Glossop, you're in our standard coverage area. Further out we'll still quote, we'll just be transparent about travel time on the visit.
How quickly can you get to me?+
Most North West postcodes are 30–60 minutes from our Glossop base. New installs are typically booked the same week as the quote. Service and repair callouts for existing customers are attended same-day or next-day across Greater Manchester, the High Peak and Cheshire.
What does an alarm or CCTV install cost across the North West?+
Residential intruder alarms typically range from £600 to £1,500 fully fitted depending on grading and sensor count. Domestic CCTV systems run £900 to £2,500 for 4–8 camera setups. Commercial pricing depends entirely on size and grading every quote is fixed-price after a free site survey, with no mid-job extras.
Are you available for emergency callouts?+
Yes, for existing customers with active service agreements we offer 24/7 emergency cover across the North West. New customers can also book urgent fault visits, typically attended within 24–48 hours.
Do you only work in Greater Manchester?+
No Greater Manchester is our largest market but we work right across the North West, including Cheshire (Wilmslow, Macclesfield, Knutsford), Lancashire (Bolton, Bury, Rossendale), the High Peak (Buxton, New Mills, Whaley Bridge) and the wider Merseyside fringe.
Can you take over a system installed by someone else?+
In most cases yes. If your existing system uses Texecom, HIKVISION, Honeywell, Pyronix, Risco or any other mainstream UK brand, we can usually service, repair and reprogramme it. We'll tell you honestly if a system is genuinely beyond economical repair rather than push you straight to a replacement.
Do you offer monitored alarms across the North West?+
Yes we partner with a UK-based ARC (Alarm Receiving Centre) that covers all North West postcodes for police-response and keyholder-response monitoring.
Are your systems insurance-approved?+
Yes. Every system we install is specified to meet your insurer's grading requirement (typically Grade 2 for residential, Grade 3 for higher-risk commercial). You receive full installation and commissioning certification on handover.
